What inspired you to pursue a career in accounting/advisory?
I was drawn to public accounting because it combines problem-solving with the opportunity to help people make important financial decisions with confidence. I appreciate that tax regulations are always evolving, which creates ongoing opportunities to learn and grow. I’ve always enjoyed bringing understanding and structure to complex situations and this career has been a great way to continuously feed my curiosity.
What's one interesting fact people might not know about you?
Many people are surprised to learn that I earned a degree in culinary arts before pursuing my career in public accounting.
What part of your work do you find most rewarding?
The most rewarding part of my work is helping clients feel clarity and peace of mind. Taxes and financial matters can feel stressful, so it’s meaningful to turn something complex and always evolving into something manageable by serving as a trusted resource for support.
What's your go-to way to relax after a busy day?
Spending time with my family, being outside tending to my garden, or cooking a good meal are my favorite ways to unwind.
